Think of all things cake, pastry wrapped, gourmet & patisserie inspired & an image of Belle’s Patisserie instantly springs to mind. I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited to the rather lush Belle’s launches & events over the past few years – it’s always one you never want to miss. Sadly, I had to miss out on the launch of their Spring / Summer event a week ago due to a baby emergency. BUT. Despite the fact that I couldn’t sample any of the delicious gourmet treats, I wanted to spread the happy Summer vibes Belle’s is throwing out to all of their fans…
Some new flavours, treats & menus are on offer, just in time for the warmer weather. African inspired sushi, as well as a whole new savoury menu is on offer with items such as carpaccio, baked cheese balls & gourmet pastas happily making an appearance.
Of course, Belle’s wouldn’t be Belle’s without sticking to a touch of French influence, notably in the patisserie side of things. A hint of the traditional is always evident (Belle’s serves up some of the best eclaires in Joburg), as well as keeping things modern with a host of Freak Shake varieties on offer.
